Salary- $65000 

Overview: As the Proposal Writer you will be responsible for analyzing proposal requirements and prepare written proposals to communicate the company’s ability to effectively meet the client’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for developing a thorough understanding of our services, industry and target markets
  • Analyze proposal documents such as requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and requests for quotations (RFQs)
  • Prepare an appropriate response showing expertise and value-add propositions
  • Coordinate information from various departments within the organization
  • Gather information from the sales team, operations, vendors and other partners
  • Brainstorm, write and review proposals
  • Edit, proof, format, and provide visualizations for proposals
  • Facilitate and make revisions based on group feedback
  • Ensure client’s quality standards are met and work with proposal team to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Coordinate and organize multiple proposals with team leads
  • Administrative duties related to sales
  • Other duties as required


Skills Required:

  • Ability to read, review, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong leadership ability
  • Intrinsic ability to effectively analyze, plan, prioritize, negotiate, and execute business strategies.


Education & Experience:

  • Post-secondary diploma, degree, or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, English or other related fields
  • 1-2 years work experience in a similar role
  • Acceptable security and criminal record check
