LOCATION: Calgary, AB
SHIFT TYPE: Full-time 
SHIFT DAYS: Monday- Friday & Weekends
SHIFT HOURS: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

JOB OVERVIEW:
You will be responsible for performing heavy-duty maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Project Worker will use heavy machinery in order to successfully strip and wax floors. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean and care for buildings and facilities ensuring that are maintained in a safe and healthy manner
  • Must be able to utilize heavy machinery to diligently wax and strip floors
  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of chemical usage
  • Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of all the public
  • Secure storage areas
  • Ensure cleaning materials/supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
  • Report or perform equipment repairs and report stock shortages
  • Report damage and acts of vandalism
  • Perform other duties as required per business needs

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment 
  • Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
  • Ability to read & understand labels & instructions 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous related experience considered an asset
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Acceptable security and criminal record check
