LOCATION: Calgary, AB
SHIFT DAYS: Thursday to Monday / weekends 
SHIFT HOURS: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM

JOB OVERVIEW: You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of scheduled event setups and take downs. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, setting up event spaces, reading diagrams and following event descriptions, mopping, reporting deficiencies, sweeping, and wiping down glass and other surfaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise a team of up to 10 people
  • Review the setup/takedown diagram & instructions in detail with the staff
  • Assign specific duties and responsibilities to the setup team
  • Aid and guide to set up staff during the event setups and takedowns to ensure efficiency and strict adherence to plans
  • Conduct inspections and ensure setups and takedowns are completed as per standards and specifications
  • Cleaning and maintaining common rooms
  • Setting up tables and chairs for events
  • Read and understand set-up diagrams for events
  • Sweep and mop floors, wipe down tables etc
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
  • Monitor and report any repairs or required replacements
  • Proficient with Excel & Google Sheets
  • Able to use simple hand tools
  • Able to assemble and disassemble commercial desks on Campus
  • Able to assign tasks to team members and follow up
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
  • Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull required load up to 100 Pounds

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
  • Requirement to be flexible with work times
